Why the hell would anyone be against immigration or in favor of enthic cleansing?

@Picklebobble2 This is an old talking point and no longer applies to the situation in America in 2024. We are being overrun by refugees, these people are not coming here to take our jobs, they are here to soak up our social safety net, such as it is. In the mid 90's this would be a valid point. It's simply not true any more.

@SumKindaMunster if they're in "The social safety net" one assumes that to mean theyre taking advantage of payments and systems of assistance available to genuine refugees/asylum seekers yes ?
If so surely they're applying legally.
That being the case why the complaint ?

If they're illegally entered and not taking advantage.....again where's the complaint ?
And isn't that more down to poor border control at home ?

Again if it's a constant source of annoyance who's fault is that ?

The unemployed
Single parents
Disability payments
People overstaying their visas
Illegal immigrants

Its an important distinction because it's the difference between coming across as a rightfully concerned citizen rather than someone making foreigners the cause of the country's ills.

I don't blame refugees for coming here, but that doesn't mean they can just come in without doing it [i]legally[/i]. Why can you people not accept that as a reason?
