@Picklebobble2 I have met Hunt - briefly, as he is my local MP. He is a very smooth character, very clever. Gove I read about in Rory Stewart's book. This confirmed my earlier suspicions. He is oily.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow True. A number of my ancestors included. Their descendents eventually did really well, which would have been difficult in the more rigid social structure of England.
