Will the GOP lose The House of Representatives before the election?

Seems like it's also lost control of the House, but chaos is kind of a major GOP goal of late.

Not likely, but their razor-thin majority just got thinner with Santos' expulsion and McCarthy leaving at the end of the year. If McCarthy leaves after Friday at midnight, Newsom doesn't have to call a special election, so the seat will remain vacant until the regular election next November.

Nope. Gerrymandering and other voting shenanigans are a science.

It could happen! They are afraid some of their older members will die off, and the idea that they could lose their thin majority makes me happy!
