Nothing green about them considering lithium mining scars the landscape and those expensive batteries won’t last the life of the car. Get stuck on the highway in the winter and the heater will run them down.

Oil extraction does the same damage except the lithium in those batteries is infinitely recyclable and reusable while oil is a one time go. Once all the lithium is extracted it is there to use.

@cherokeepatti umm yes. It is highly toxic to the landscape and new drilling and especially fracking new wells does shit tones of damage.

And again oil is one and done use. Lithium can be reused. There's room and need for both.
