The problem is real but electric cars are not the solution.
Living simpler lives, growing food, using public transportation and so on would be. In the end it should be an individual choice and not imposed by corporations.

@Samu01 of the dozens upon dozens of problems. If it is you'd best hope it isn't.

People addicted to drugs. Criminals coalescing into gangs doing violence in cities. Shortage of long distance thoroughfares creating traffic problems. Skyrocketing health care expenses. Rotten public education. Rape, molestation and suicide. Raw materials piling up in mountains because of planned obsolescence and disposable product culture. Growing marginal and poverty sectors in the economy a giant shrinkage of the middle class and wealth concentration that destabilizes a population.

Any "problem" they claim they can fix they never have and only made worse. And this one they say they can fix.

Nah. Governments don't fix problems. They create them.
