Our Troubled World
In this troubled world of the 21st century too many times the leaders and government officials have succumbed to the temptations of selfish desires. In doing so the world that we know has morphed into a most inhospitable place. Nation after nation continue to suffer the ravages of inner turmoil and external violent reactions of other nations and organizations. Whether it is lust, greed, revenge or retaliation that drives these individuals to such actions is paramount to understanding how world peace can be accomplished.
Today the influence of mass media propaganda has created the reactionary responses that are currently being played out on the worlds stage. As Shakespeare once quoted "all the world is a stage." How true; and we can add that populations of nations are all but bit players. We have always been the hapless pawns in the global struggle of global domination.
The United States in particular has scoured the world exerting their dominance far and wid. We have rarely been invited to intercede in the internal struggles of other nations and yet our own government has deemed it is in our best interest and vital for our national security to meddle in other nations affairs. There are many economic, religious and sociological factors that influence the medial hype propaganda which influence governments reactions. And the US is mostly to blame by our international and domestic policies over the last 60 years.
Realizing that the world is way out of balance means more populations are suspectable to more pain and suffering by the reactionary repossesses that governments do. In doing so the more profound our reactions have always been. History has shown when there are great divides in societies as there are today too many times violent repercussions and violent responses occur within societies. The greater the divides the more intense and violent are the repercussions.
The United States even before the Civil War the divisions within have manifested into a nation that may never be one nation under one flag again. With so much animosity against certain races, ethnic groups and religions caused by other nations reactionary or retaliatory responses is creating more of the imbalances that exist today.
The world is plagued by the inadequacies of governments. For far too long societies have been decimated by policies that continues to foster an intolerant course of action against certain races, religions, and the poor destitute citizens of nations. Realizing this is the first step in rectifying the imbalances in societies that continue to thwart any chance of achieving peace on earth.
