Ya know, there are videos of the 9/11 hijackers calmly walking thru airports and passing security. Does that law-abiding behavior detract in any way from their later crimes? No it does not.
And the fact that Trump's Jan 6 insurrectionists weren't violent in every frame of video doesn't detract in any way detract from their crimes either.
@trollslayer Maybe the videos will show who was smearing fecal matter in the halls of Congress. And maybe some member of the public can then identify the smearer and he can be brought to justice. Maybe there are a bunch of acts of destruction that haven't been prosecuted yet and the public can help identify those criminals too. I see more prosecutions in the future for Trump's Jan 6 insurrectionists.

I'm not defending anyone who was a part of the Insurrection, but as an American, I will always stand up for the Constitution.
Having said that, If the DNA is already on record from a previous crime, it can be matched. If the DNA is not on file, and can not be matched, the collection of DNA must follow the law, so as not to violate anyone's Constitutional rights. We wouldn't want anyone to get off on a technicality by evidence not being collected properly.

@ElwoodBlues Listening to people say that hours of nothing somehow invalidates hours of something, or seeing things in videos that are either easily disproven or make the case for the opposite side truly makes me wonder what happened to the brains of these folks.
