The Noose Is Tightening Around Iran. U.S. Aircraft Carrier Battlegroups Are on the Move.

While the USS Gerald R. Ford is staying in the Eastern Med for now (keeping a close eye on Syria), the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower will now head for the Arabian Sea once she and her escorts completes her transit of the Atlantic.

The USS Ronald Reagan battlegroup has left South Korea and is now operating in the Philippean Sea. It wouldn't take long for her battlegroup to join Eisenhower's if so desired.

And the USS Carl Vinson battlegroup has left San Diego and is now at sea around Hawai'i.

All of this could have been averted if the US had just handed back the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in the 1970s, apologized for orchestrating the overthrow of a legitmate government along with their British cohorts in 1953 because the country voted to nationalize the oil industry. The CIA & MI6 interfered in a sovereign state.
