To buy a house 🏡 4.50 5.00 a gallon of gas!
I liked it when President Trump was in office
1.84 for a gallon of gasoline.
Good luck young liberal Democrats
(AKA ) renters ……
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@DDaverde The current inflation rate is 3.7%.
Trump tried to destroy democracy and remain in office after an election he soundly lost. He's the most un-American president we have ever had and doesn't believe in either the Constitution or the rule of law.
Trump thinks service members are suckers and idiots for serving. What's in it for them? He doesn't understand either service or sacrifice.
He has been indicted four times on 91 felony counts for crimes he has committed.
More people are employed right now than at any time under Trump.
The unemployment rate is lower than under Trump.
The budget deficit has decreased under Biden from Trump's record deficits.
Trump added more to the national debt in four years than any other US president ever.

As far as loving things when Trump was in office, did you like the lying, the huge deficits, the overt racism and white supremacy, or the failure to build the wall and have Mexico pay for it the most?
@DDaverde You liked 5 weeks of lying about the pandemic leading to 22 million lost jobs??

@DDaverde You liked TWICE the per capita Covid death rate of comparable nations??

All through Trump's term, our Covid per capita death rate was DOUBLE that of countries like Canada & Germany, resulting in about 550,000 Covid deaths under Trump.

If Trump had handled Covid as well as, say, Justin Trudeau, we'd have had 275,000 FEWER DEATHS! Put another way, Trump's mis-management of Covid cost more deaths than THREE Viet Nam wars!! Three Viet Nams in a SINGLE YEAR, not spread out over ten years like the actual war!!!

Sure, Covid came from outside. And different leaders in different countries managed it differently. Trump's piss-poor Covid management is made clear by the relative per capita death rates.

"I look at it this way," Birx told CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta. "The first time, we have an excuse. There were about 100,000 deaths that came from that original surge. All of the rest of them, in my mind, could have been mitigated or decreased substantially."

@DDaverde Okay Mr plastic pants/I piss myself. We will def trust you to know the truth about who is and who is not "good".
Montanaman · M
@windinhishair you're having hallucinations. Fucking economic is worse than its been in decades. Home interest rates 8.8% gas prices $4.00+. Deficit approaching glass ceiling. Government shutdowns looming. On the verge of Nuclear war with at least 3 countries!!!! Wake Up!!
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Montanaman Interest rates are up globally. Biden's increase in the budget deficit is a significant reduction from Trump's, which was a record (the data are readily available--read it). Republicans were responsible for almost shutting down the government, and needlessly. Can't blame either Biden or the Democrats for that. You can ignore the facts, but that doesn't make them less factual.
Montanaman · M
@windinhishair I still say you're way way out there. Watch Trump's State of the Union Address February 2020.
@Montanaman Watch 22 million jobs disappear after 5 weeks of Trump's lies about the pandemic.

Montanaman · M
@ElwoodBlues The pandemic was his Downfall. I admit that. But honestly, it was created to bring him down.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@DDaverde You are aware that the most important founding father figures, the ones that did the intellectual legwork for the constitution and all that... were liberals right? Being liberal, is kind of the backbone of the American political construction.
ilikeitlikethat23 · 61-69, M
@DDaverde you fool, your being used and manipulated and dont even see it.
ilikeitlikethat23 · 61-69, M
@Montanaman your fucked in the head.
@DDaverde Actually we feel sorry for you…you have no idea just how ignorant and misled you are.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Montanaman You call me delusional, yet you believe that the Chinese created covid and released it in their own country to kill millions of their own people and bring down a president literally half the world away? Do you realize how absurd that is?

I just pay attention to the facts. If you go back to early 2020, economists were predicting that the Trump tax cuts and the increased domestic deficit would cause a recession later in 2020. Covid masked that and pushed some of the consequences of that later as we were coming out of covid. And the entire world suffered from rising inflation, not just the US.

if you look at the annual budget deficits, they reached a recent low under Obama and began rising when Trump took office, before anyone knew anything about covid. Biden and the Democrats have been bringing them back down again from the huge record deficits under Trump.
Montanaman · M
@Kwek00 Liberal's were the initial make up of the KKK. Look it up!
Montanaman · M
@windinhishair China wss the country, but the extreme left were behind it all.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@Montanaman I doubt it, but if you have a good source, you can give it to me. I'm not going to look stuff up from a person that says that the pandemic was constructed to bring down a president. I think a person that makes those claims, can provide me with their sources.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Montanaman Democrats, not liberals. Republicans in the 1860s and 1870s were called Radical Repubicans. The Democrats were the original founders of the KKK and were mostly conservative and southern, just like the KKK is today, except that today they are Republican.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Montanaman And your proof of that claim is???
Montanaman · M
@windinhishair How in the hell? How much American funding has gone to Ukraine?
Then, Biden releases Billions of dollars to Iran, just weeks if not days before the attack on Israel by Hamas/Hazbulla. Coincidence?
Montanaman · M
@Kwek00 I don't believe in coincidence.
Far too convenient for it to happen (Pandemic level, after he was not convicted of his impeachment.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Montanaman Biden didn't release billions of dollars to Iran. That money was Iran's, controlled by non-US banks in other countries, and is not under US control. It is being released slowly for humanitarian aid only after it is invoiced by service organizations. And none of it has been released yet. Even Fox News is admitting that. You really need to get some real information sources.

The last I saw the total US aid to Ukraine was about $75 billion, which is a small fraction of the budget.

Nice deflection, but your source of information that the "left" was behind the release of covid in China is???

windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Montanaman The facts and figures are not produced by the media. They are available for anyone to review. You can choose to ignore them for your gut feelings, but that won't prevent them from being facts. Believing the left somehow created covid and released it in China is the definition of a conspiracy theory.
Montanaman · M
@windinhishair Look, i respect your opinion, but just going by the economy of America Today...i think Biden is a zombie in office. Totally incompetent. Have you or anyone you know tried to purchase a home recently. 8.125% interest is so fucking absurd. The rich get richer. Not just Republicans. Give me a intelligent candidate for 2024, and i might just vote for him/her. The incumbent is definitely off my list! You're not going to change my mind and I'm not going to change yours.
So we agree to disagree.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Montanaman There is no way I could possibly vote for Trump or any Republican who has supported him. I would prefer a younger candidate than Biden, but the choice next fall is simple if Trump is the nominee. It will be anyone but him.

I bought my first house at an 11.75% interest rate and was grateful to get one that low. All of my friends had rates in the 13 to 16% range. It can be done. I agree with you that things are absurd, but that is a global phenomenon, not a US one. What we need to do is restore taxes on the wealthy to what they were in the 1970s and reduce spending, especially military spending. There needs to be a focus on average Americans, which won't happen any time soon since many of them support policies that maintain the current tax system at their own expense.
