Tory Party Conference.

You can all keep eating s**t but that's ok because we have lots of mean things to say about immigrants and trans people.

Painfully confused people, as well as people who fall for it

Are the strikes still going on over there?

@deadgerbil It's mixture. Some have settled with decent deals, some are ongoing and some have petered out.

I've been canvassing for labour since 2016. The trans issue didn't used to come up on the doorstep but now it does. This is entirely because the right of this country has copied the Republican playbook.

In reality, trans people are 0.5% if the population and most people don't know a trans person. But now, some boomer and xer feminists are worried about a supposed threat to women's spaces. Rightwing blokes are also getting angry about this.

So much of the debate is based on deliberate misunderstandings and fears of problems that trans emancipation does not create. It's tiresome.

@Burnley123 it's their newest boogyman. So much on the right is based on misunderstandings that run deep

How is homosexuality over there amongst Torries?

This is straight out of Texas lol

@deadgerbil My favorite thing about them is the fact that they admit their heterosexuality is a lifestyle choice because if being homosexual is a choice then it suffices to say that heterosexuality is. I really want to go up to every GOP politician and asked them what their first gay experience was and if it was a bad anal experience to make them anti gay or whatever.
