The sense of entitlement of woke people is a stunning lack of grace.

And all they talk about is other people's insensitivity.

@TheEmperor People can disagree on what the injustices are, but to say there are no injustices is to uphold the system of classism that keeps people poor.
And that's the point. Literally every policy the Republicans have is about making the workers poorer and making the rich richer.

@TheEmperor Which Democrat policy makes people poorer?

@TheEmperor Immigration is good for the economy. There's no evidence it makes people poorer. Illegal immigrants can be a drain on the economy, but the Republicans are keeping them illegal, not the Democrats. Republicans vote against border security, then they vote against legalizing the illegals already here.
And again, that's the point. Republicans want people to be poor. They want immigrants for the cheap labor, but want to keep them illegal.

@TheEmperor I did. You said immigration, I'm saying you're wrong. Immigration does not make people poorer, it's actually very good for the economy. It's only bad when the immigrants are illegal, and we have lots of illegal immigrants because of the Republicans.

Any other Democrat policies you think make people poor?

1. More people equals more demand for houses equals higher house prices

It also means more people working in the housing industry, which is good for the economy. There's no evidence this drives up housing prices.

2. People from poorer countries are happy to work for less which depress wages.

The Democrats want to raise the minimum wage, so this isn't really an issue. Democrats also support unions.

3. Diverse workforces are less likely to unionise

Sure, but the Democrats are trying to get people to unionize, as well as trying to assimilate immigrants. As opposed to Republicans who are bringing in more immigrants and keeping them illegal, which cuts them off from mainstream society. Immigration does cause issues, but it's a net positive when done the way Democrats are trying.

4. Some will become dependent on welfare, creating less buying power for those who do contribute

Anyone can become dependent on welfare. This is like saying some immigrants will commit crimes.
And people being on welfare doesn't lower buying power.

5. Immigrants also get old.

WTF? Everyone gets old.

Lovely, so then to cover that, companies raise prices. And then smaller companies who could have competed with larger companies resulting in reduced prices, can’t afford to hire staff to compete.

Nope. Raising the minimum wage doesn't actually cause companies to raise their prices, it also doesn't contribute to outsourcing. Companies do these things if they can, regardless of what the minimum wage is.
We always hear shit like, "if we raise the minimum wage, they'll just replace you with a machine!" as if companies aren't doing that already. Corporations will do anything to save money and it would be like that even if there was no minimum wage.

It is incredibly more likely that someone with no family or friends in a new country they moved to is going to dependent on welfare than someone with generations of local connections.

Immigrants are actually less likely to end up on welfare.

That’s the point, leftists propose immigration as an answer to the increasing number of older and healthcare dependent people, as if those immigrants won’t also become old and frail.

No, Leftists propose immigration as one of many answers to low birthrates.

Yes it does, I should know, I’ve worked as an account and fund raise for several companies and charities and currently run several 6 figure international companies and charities and know what I’m talking abou

That's anecdotal evidence. Generally speaking, corporations will do anything to say money no matter the situation. Republicans are constantly cutting taxes for the rich, it never results in less outsourcing, lower prices, or higher employment.

“Immigrants are less likely to become dependent on welfare’. Source.

"Once refugees and U.S.-born children are excluded from the data, most research shows that immigrants are not welfare prone. On average, immigrants consume 27 percent fewer benefits than U.S.-born who have similar incomes and ages. Furthermore, some programs are utilized as a source of temporary support."

What are their other answers to low birth rates?

Social welfare programs raise birth rates, especially ones that specifically make it easier to have kids, such as like maternity/paternity leave, free school lunch, child tax credit, and so on. This worked in a bunch of European countries.
We do have to accept that as a country becomes industrialized, birth rates drop significantly because people no longer need ten kids to work the fields. But social welfare programs at least get people to have a replacement level birth rate.
