Vivek Ramaswamy promotes taking away voting rights from 18- to 24-year-olds unless they pass a civics test.

“I think there’s no reason why every high school student who graduated in this country should not have to pass the same civics test that an immigrant, like my parents, had to pass in order to become a citizen of this country,” he told Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds at the Iowa State Fair in August.

This is a ploy to remove yet more votes from the tally; votes that tend to skew liberal.

I'd like Ramaswamy, on the spot, to take that basic civics or even a naturalization test. in fact, 1 out of 3 people and not pass that test and the only state to have a score of even 50% is Vermont. Care to guess the region with the most "F's"? In some of those states, as little s 27% of citizens could pass the test. All these "experts" on policy and what's best for the nation.

So maybe we all stop bloviating about who the greatest patriots are and acquaint ourselves with where we live first.
