@Vin53 I mean they are not wrong. A plantation wedding is best case scenario very cringeworthy.
And the usual justification is that they are beautiful old buildings. Many old asylums also fit that bill. But weddings in asylums are seen as tacky.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow An asylum was used only to house what were thought to be insane people. A plantation was not a slave factory; it was not the purpose of a plantation.
