The funny thing is when you look at the witness list for trump's Jan6 insurrection trial..

...every one of them is a GOP con and former trumper. It's comically devastating for trumps negligee defense. He's going to be ridden hard and put away wet and it will be a rejuvenation of our Democracy as it unfolds.

That's the way it should be. Democrats historically attack innocent people based on politics and defend clearly guilty people on the same basis. Republicans are even handed as a general rule. Cases in point, Republicans forced Nixon to resign for merely suggesting crimes Obama flagrantly approved of and actually did. If Democrats intend to appear rational, they must push to immediately impeach former disgraced President Obama. Anything less is simply politics.

@IronHamster We all live under the same rules of law, if cons get convicted more than dems its because they're breaking laws more often. Fact.

@IronHamster Its simple enough. In a contest between a corrupted political system and a corrupted legal system, the political arm leads the charge and tries to bring the legal and law enforcement to heel. Trump tried with Comey. The republicans stacked the supreme court. That Trump has is fact been investigated and a whole bunch of Law enforcement and legal types have staked their careers and their families futures. (Remember Trumps latest tweets)on charging Trump and his closest allies with over 70 crimes (and counting) tells everyone quite clearly that the politicians are not in control quite yet. Of course, there are still Hillarys emails, Hunters Lap top and Obamas secret Kenyan Muslim background to be dealt with..And how is that flat earth thing coming???😷

You are assuming that those who still support him now will see the error of their ways. Good luck with that...😷

@Thinkerbell But not enough to try and make reason of it.

@Vin53

The person I was addressing, @whowasthatmaskedman, "made reason" of it, and that is all that matters.

It's pretty obvious they at least knew it would at least be called a coup if it didn't work whether they thought it was justified or just that it would be successful and they could use the insurrection act and the Court to make it work.

Why would you let potential rats have first hand knowledge if you could avoid it?

Obviously, it didn't succeed in that respect either, but I wouldn't expect any Democrat witnesses, and we've pretty much established that the thought of wiretapping Trump is one of the reasons this happened.

I don't think it will rejuvenate anything.....unfortunately....
