DeSantis staffers are using Nazi symbols in their ads now? 馃槸

"Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' 2024 campaign fired an aide this week who created and shared a pro-DeSantis video that featured the candidate at the center of a Sonnenrad, an ancient symbol appropriated by the Nazis and still used by some white supremacists."

Those person(s) responsible were fired because that kind of stuff is not tolerated by Desantis. If it were the person responsible for it wouldn鈥檛 have been fired

@specman what do you think was attractive for those people that would prompt them to want to work for desantis? And without the outward display of nazism, would they have been fired?

@Carla I'm use to republicans hiring neo-Nazis not firing them. I suppose when the word gets out though you gotta do it. Remember Trump called the white supremacists and neo-Nazis during their Charlottesville protest "very fine people"

@TrumpIsFinallyGone They ARE fine people. What's the matter with you? Are you woke?
Carla61-69, F
@TrumpIsFinallyGone he did indeed.
I do think that those outward displays can't be tolerated. The sentiment can be, but not the symbols. Appearances and all....

@Carla they might have needed the money. Republicans are not to be held responsible for who follows them. The so called nazi or whatever might feel that they damn sure don鈥檛 want to vote Democrat and even though their beliefs don鈥檛 line up with Republicans. They feel that since they know life is unbearable with Democrats in charge. They vote for the lesser evil I imagine. They can follow who they want. It doesn鈥檛 mean that who they decide to follow is like them.
