DYK ? : Nearly 3,000 places in U.S. have water worse than Flint,

Luckily , Trump is going to fix the EPA , by slashing funding and running it more like a business. Yup , just like in Flint.
Y'all must be real relieved now.

EPA hasn't done us much good.

So even less oversight is clearly a good thing then ?

Easy to say. If you think the EPA has done nothing, you know nothing of what you speak. Imagine a marketplace run amok without the EPA. You think Corporations, mines, chemical plants, slaughterhouses, and a million others would not like to scrap the regulations they have to adhere to? It's easy to espouse ignorant theories with a broad brushstroke. Harder to actually read abut what they actually do on a daily basis
@CassandraFemale17: Cassandra, Nobody is talking about changing the law ... just, getting back to it. The EPA missed the last 10 environmental diasasters because they were distracted by issues far outside their scope ... they have made poor engineering and scientific calls on others ... Flint is a trophy to their mismanagement.

Years ago, they finished their original mission ... so they crossed over into the domain of other agencies ... It is one of the saddest jobs I think anybody could ever have.

Have some pity on those folks ... give'em early pensions and release them ... keep those that enforce the legislation.

@questionWeaver: I'll read more about it, and see where it takes me. Thanks for the heads up

@CassandraFemale17: Questionweaver is right. Why do you think Scott Pruitt was so successful in court challenges? They exceeded the law many times and Gina McCarthy, the outgoing administrator is a fanatic zealot.
