What do you think the recent murder of a Russian diplomat in Turkey by a fanatical islamic terrorist will induce Russia to do about terrorism?

Winston Churchill and FDR did not trust Stalin during WWII but they had a common enemy - the NAZIS. The Normandy invasion from the west would not have been successful without Russian action against the Nazis from the east. The Nazis simply could not afford a major war on two fronts simultaneously. Is it possible that acting in self interest the Russians will support the west in fighting to defeat ISIS. Russia is not safe either.

The problem is the west's attempts to fight terrorism are at best PR stunts. There is zero evidence any of them are serious about it unlike Russia. In the west and particularly in the US terrorists are just viewed as convenient foreign policy tools.

Hi PicturesOfABetterTomorrow. Until they fly passenger jets into the World Trade Centre.
If you believe that changed anything I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Sorry but if you think that changed anything you are very naive. How do you explain for example how your government actively helped cover up who funded that attack on their own citizens or how Turkish ships selling ISIS oil were magically invisible to US bombers until the Russians publicly exposed it. Sorry but believing the US cares about stopping terror requires actively ignoring reality.
