Am I the only liberal around here who doesn’t get offended and butthurt over everything?

Seems like we’re getting a bad reputation as people who can’t handle a disagreement or mature discussion about whatever views we have. It’s a lil frustrating because I for one can respect opposing opinions and realize that just because I think a certain way doesn’t mean everyone else does or even should. Like have ppl ever thought maybe there are some things out there that aren’t as black and white as we try to make them out to be. Or that maybe not one sole person or social/political group has everything figured and is always right. Hell maybe we’re all wrong. Maybe we’re only human and can’t take complex issues, or broad ideas and put it all into one little box and label it “Right” and just throw away anything that dare challenges our own logic into the trash and not even consider the possibility that maybe, just maybe everyone’s opinion matters…. Or maybe none of our opinions matter. Either way I support everyone’s rights as fellow humans to an opinion and wish more people would. Just saying

From experience the political right and yes conservatives and liberals are considered right wing (apparently everywhere but the US) are butthurt over anything. I mean look at all the conservatives shooting beer cans, thrashing pride merch at stores, sending bomb threats to hospitals that offer trans healthcare, ....

The whole cultur war is about being butthurt about how much they dislike and are unable to deal with cultural changes.
As a real leftists I am accused of being butthurt when I react to people defending insane education and healthcare costs, when I am rebutting the groomer narrative or when I am bringing up real stats on gender affirming care (no kids don't get surgery), ....

The Komodo analysis of insurance claims found 56 genital surgeries among patients ages 13 to 17 with a prior gender dysphoria diagnosis from 2019 to 2021. Among teens, “top surgery” to remove breasts is more common. In the three years ending in 2021, at least 776 mastectomies were performed in the United States on patients ages 13 to 17 with a gender dysphoria diagnosis, according to Komodo’s data analysis of insurance claims.

Still not that huge issue conservatives make it out to be.
In cases of severe gender dysphoria it might be a necessity to go through with it a bit earlier.

Yours is the usual response, when a leftist is called out on one of their "oh, it never happens" statements.
They then typically retreat to "Well, it's not a big problem."

Of the 40,000 or so cases of gender dysphoria diagnosis, let's assume about half are biological girls, so the 200 or so that get mastectomies each year amount to about 1%.

If one applies the same kind of argument to yearly murders in Chicago (a city of 2.7 million) the number of murders last year was about 300, which amounts to a little over .01% of Chicago's population, so why are leftists making such a huge issue about guns?

The whole societal and scientific progress and framework was different and we keep progressing.
By that logic if you need cancer treatment I'd advise against it cause maybe it doesn’t work and there will be a whole new method in 80 years 🤷‍♀️
