Biden hangs "Pride" flag from White House. Treasonous act?

Poll - Total Votes: 67
Yes, treasonous act. The only flag hanging at the Whit House should be the American flag.
No, not treasonous because it shows acceptance of LGBTQ+ people in America.

Yes, I do have a problem with the Nazi and Confederate flag. Both of them are symbols of racism. And since both those groups lost their respective wars, those flags should be totally banned from our country.

Actually, the American flag is far more of a symbolof racism than either the Nazi or Confederate flag. Remeber, America was founded as a racist slave country where only Whites had rights. It engaged in a program of genocide against the American Indians. It was a slave country until December 18, 1865. And sab=very is still legal in America. It allowed the racist system of Jim Crow to flourish for decades and had sundown towns from border to border and coast to coast. It was openly discriminatory against Asians and made that racist platform part of both parties national agenda in the 1920s.

The Nazis got their bad habits from the Americans and they only lasted for a few years.

The Confederates hated Blacks and wanted to enslave as many as possible. If they had had their way they would have imported every Black person in Africa. The Union wanted to deport all Blacks and the assassination of Lincoln stopped that. Slavery existed for about 4 years in the Confederacy but lasted 89 years in America.

@Diotrephes That is a very accurate description of 'the backside' of American history that most do not want to discuss or really want to erase or ignore. Sometimes the truth hurts, and it's uncomfortable, but if we really want to make America great for everyone, not just a select few, then we must acknowledge the good, the bad, and the ugly.
For all of the positive steps forward we have made as a nation, (many of those have been 'baby steps forward') we seem to be being forced backwards by a segment of our society. The extreme right spoke of a culture war for years and that is what they have succeeded in bringing us. It is up to the rest of us to stop it dead in its tracks and get back some sense of humanity and compassion.
