Do most Americans have nothing better to discuss rather than politics?

most of you seem utterly obsessed on this site.
Just to make this clear, this thread is not a excuse for you to ramble on about your political opinions. I dont care.
I am just asking if you have nothing else going on in your lives that take higher priority? for those that only ever talk about politics, I imagine you guys live very sad lives.
There is only very few of you on here that i have noticed are not like that but for example you dont seen anyone outside of America, be as obsessed with politics. Its just weird

1. Yes they do live sad lives.

2. Politics here arent just talking points. It directly affects our daily lives, in real time.

3. Living in America is a sad experience. True personal freedom does not exist here.

@Torsten You guys? Have you seen how this country treats women? LGBTQIA+ especially the trans community (400+ anti trans bills in 2023)? People with disabilities? The racism that never died, which isn't exclusive to black people. It happens to anyone who's not white, on a systemic level.

So yes it does matter.

@Torsten who are you to police how other people decide to express themselves? We all come on the internet and get on forums to see if others relate because connecting with people in person is really hard and sometimes impossible depending on where you live, especially after COVID mandates.

If you don't care then scroll and ignore, like the rest of us.

I never said I don't care for this, but you can't just tell people to scroll because you don't like what they said. If you hate opinions then quit asking questions you don't want the answer to.

You made a claim that i am policing peoples speech and i say that is utterly ridiculous. Asking a question is not policing anything.

you assume i didnt like your other response but tell me what does talking about it all the time and obsessing over that achieve? does it fix any of it, does it change anything at all?
