Do most Americans have nothing better to discuss rather than politics?

most of you seem utterly obsessed on this site.
Just to make this clear, this thread is not a excuse for you to ramble on about your political opinions. I dont care.
I am just asking if you have nothing else going on in your lives that take higher priority? for those that only ever talk about politics, I imagine you guys live very sad lives.
There is only very few of you on here that i have noticed are not like that but for example you dont seen anyone outside of America, be as obsessed with politics. Its just weird

@Torsten ok, fair enough you're not American. That part can't be disputed but the last statement? Really? You're always posting about identities and how they inform legislation or relational power. It's all politics.

@HijabaDabbaDoo maybe you can say identity politics for sure. I am talking about actual politics though like Trump/Biden, Left/right nonsense.
To be fair it is mentioned a lot in my threads i make and i normally get sucked into it. But outside of others bringing it up to me, I dont think about American politics in the slightest.
