@SatyrService is this a thread hijacking? how about the senator who slept with his intern? How about the senator who claimed to be a native american? how about the senator who accepted campaign contributions from a chinese government affiliated agency?

@SatyrService we share common ground on our suspicions about the motives and behavior of politicians. i am not a member of either political party. I think if term limits are good for presidents, we might want to try them for senators, congresspersons, governors, mayors, etc. My dog catcher can stay though. It's less prone to waste fraud and abuse than billion dollar pentagon contracts.

Between corporate lobbyists and untraceable dark money, super pacs etc. we have lost control of the entire process of politics.
how many members of congress AREN'T millionaires, and how many that enter congress not THAT rich, will be millionaires when they leave congress.
ore democracy has been for sale, in whole or in part. more and more each year.
I don't care for MAGAts OR SJWs and such extreme positions on left and right, have turned Americans against each other. finding unbiased news is hard, I have been looking at something called Ground News. they show all the headlines, and who has printed what, and. what way that article or source leans, politically.
but for any story, I tend to look at 6-8 very different sources,, many over seas, to get some perspective
