Restaurant slammed for playing National Anthem by Tik Tok users

Is being Patriotic in the US dead. Tik tok users seem to think so. Not only Tik tok fans here in the US but, from around the world. Some say it's so strange in their country they never hear their National Anthem.

This is very appalling!
Americans especially the American's that commented negatively about the National Anthem are showing no respect for those that fought and died for their Freedom and their Freedom of speech!

According to KUSI, the restaurant plays the National Anthem every day at noon.

One video posted by the San Diego news station in April shows the restaurant packed with customers, all singing the patriotic tune with their hands over their hearts.

The TikTok user who posted the now viral-video of the salute was clearly not aware of the daily tradition and was stunned by the display.

Shared less than a week ago, the video has garnered more than 3.1 million views.

Not all who watched were moved by the large group standing for the National Anthem, however, as the majority of comments were outraged and disgusted.

'Serious question. Is this real? Like people actually do this in real everyday life?' one user asked.

'This happened when i was at mission bbq once and it was so awkward that i haven’t been back since,' another responded.

'As someone from the uk this feels so dystopian,' one person said.

'This feels like a horror movie,' another added.

'As a Canadian this is kind of insane,' one user wrote.

'I would be scared for my life,' one person responded.

Others who chimed in called the video, 'wild' and 'terrifying.'

There are a lot of anti Americans on here!
That’s a tradition for that restaurant. It was not done for politics.
At noon everyday they are open they play the National Anthem to honor our soldiers and our fallen heroes. People that are the life line for this country.
Those that was patriotic enough to fight for the very right that you use not to be thankful to them for. That is a bunch of bs. People like that have no honor! And we would have no America if those people were in charge. You can say what you will but if you live in America and bad mouth it you know you can and please do leave!

For those of you not living in the USA and bad mouth it. Please don’t ever visit the USA.
@specman national anthem not politics. Just gets rid of all the leftists real quick.
Falling empires are funny.

@specman No American freedom is currently at stake. It is impossible to imagine an argument to the contrary, just as the war in Iraq was clearly fought for the interests of empire, the profits of defense contractors, and the edification of neoconservative theorists. It had nothing to do with the safety or freedom of the American people. The last time the U.S. military deployed to fight for the protection of American life was in World War II

Ignorant and blind nationalism prevents any meaningful change because it declares anyone who dares to point out flaws in the system "anti-american"

@Gloomy what’s wrong with Honoring veterans and those that have fallen for this country?
Gloomy · F
@specman They died in vain you should morn them and blame your political system for murdering soldiers and for turning them into killers.

@Gloomy you must be a communist!
Gloomy · F
@specman I am but that doesn't make what I am saying untrue. Do you really believe the golf wars were about "freedom"? Or US war crimes in Vietnam were justified?
specman · 51-55, M
@Gloomy They were still fighting for their country. As far as wars go if you taken an oath and signed up to be Uncle Sam’s then when you fight for whatever cause the war is over you are fighting for your country. You have to acknowledge war is fought for many different reasons.
specman · 51-55, M
@Gloomy I am not condoning war crimes against civilians.
Gloomy · F
@specman If your country commits crimes and only engages in war because of selfish reasons and for profit you should question it and not commit crimes in the name of blind nationalism. If you put a country over peace and human lives you are garbage and from what I know the US military is not filled with people who are only volunteering.

Also if you fight and the people of your country don't get protected or are safer because of it you aint fighting for the people only for a power hungry government and system.
specman · 51-55, M
@Gloomy what do you mean not volunteering? We are not under a draft. We do not force individuals to serve.
You fight for your country or you will for sure lose it. I know you cannot understand true loyalty to your country. War is never pretty but you fight to help preserve your country. We fight wars to preserve our country. Our country doesn’t just aimlessly fight. You mentioned the gulf wars they were fought for many reasons , but they were to ultimately preserve us and our way of life.
