@SomeMichGuy It depends what Trump does. Right now, enough Republican voters still support him where it's risky for a Republican politician to oppose him openly. Even DeSantis is afraid to. Although, Asa Hutchinson just declared his candidacy and he's not shy about saying that Trump needs to withdraw. He's clearly decided that running in the "non-Trump sanity lane" is viable.
If someone other than Trump is the nominee, I can definitely see him mounting a spoiler campaign. It could take a few cycles for a new conservative party to recover from that.
