I know she made some ponderous choices during a mandatory hurricane evacuation when she was governor, I don't have much confidence in her sense of judgement just from that experience alone
Simply because the eastbound lanes of an freeway were temporarily reversed to also convey westbound traffic, driving along another freeway that crossed above the reversed freeway COMPELLED the driver to EXIT onto the reversed freeway ... there was no option to just simply continue across the overpass onto the other side of the reversed freeway as normal, resulting in having to drive a very long way just to find a freeway off ramp that was not closed off by police, so one could turn around and drive a long way back to where they were originally headed ... and there was no warning that getting onto the crossover freeway would compel you to exit onto the reversed freeway, so you could instead choose to drive across town on surface streets ... absolutely ridiculous
