What is your problem with Trump. I am going to ask for specifics so don't just say he an islamaphobe. :-)

I see most people that are against Trump never seem to be specific of an actual event or action that he preformed. Just trying to see what the stink is about.

He plans to slash taxes across the board and hasn't said he will cut anything--i.e. fuck up government income but spend even more; destroy government regulation of companies (meaning monopolies); tax imported goods; deport cheap immigrant labor; all of which will will result in, I believe, a huge increase in the cost of living.

And which the nonpartisan, conservative leaning National Tax Association believes will result in adding 10 trillion to the national debt over 10 years. 2-7 trillion after accounting for the growth all the tax slashing will have. This has the capability of sending us over 100% of our GDP--and possibly up to 110% of our GDP--in national debt; meaning lenders will become nervous and unsure of whether or not we can pay our debts and raise interest rates exponentially. E.g. like what happened to Greece. This makes it very possible for America to get caught in an interest blackhole and literally die.

And yes. He is rampantly racist and sexist. For instance, in his claim that a Hispanic federal judge couldn't do his job properly, due to his race.

All great points. Thank you for taking this seriously and not just saying he is a racist. Yeah the judge thing defiantly didn't look good to anyone. I was surprised that he did bring it up. Also commenting on race in general is never a good thing. So yes he is a bit ruff around the edges. He has never been in a position where he had to please so many people with every word he says.
So you didn't vote for him or you did you just have these concerns?
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
@Dainbramadge: Np. I tend to take most things seriously. I've never voted. If Bernie Sanders would have been the democratic nominee, then I would have voted for him. If Ron Paul would have been in the running in '12, then I would have voted for him. To me, I had no real choice. I might as well have voted for Stein or Johnson; I planned to vote independent, but I just didn't have it in me when the time came. I have always had a deep feeling as though voting never matters, because the upper echelons decide what happens either way.

@ColdPenguin: I am kind of the same way. I don't vote unless I feel really strong about it. Some people seem to think if you didn't vote you don't have a right to complain. I disagree. Hell I don't even care if your from this country. Everyone has an opinion and that was what I was looking for when I asked it. Honestly, what is the worst he could do.?? LOL

@coldPenguin: I've actually heard him speak to this several times. He said, We'll have to look at what can be cut" because we want it to be revenue neutral. That's what he said.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Katielass: Great comment. That brings up one of the most appealing qualities about Trump that I like so much. He says that kind of stuff all the time. We will have to see and things like that. Thats what I want is some one who is going to look at a problem and make the best choice to solve it. Unlike so many be for him that just wanted it to be their idea of how to fix things. :-)

@Dainbramadge: Well, in all fairness, every presidential candidate says he's gonna do this or that and then they do nothing. I think trump is different in that regard though. We'll see. He alone cannot cut spending. that will take congress and they are less inclined to cut spending because each of them has someone in their state or district they have to answer to. Someone besides their little people constituents. But, I can see Trump doing what Reagan did, taking it to the people. That usually resolves the congressional block. lol...Unless most of the voters actually want to spend $450 million on studying the lives of gay fish, that little study might get cut. (That was an actual expenditure some years back. I'm not kidding.)
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Katielass: OMG!!!! Gay fish??? That is crazy. I wish I would have thought of it.LOL I am really excited to see what he will do. I have never felt that for any of hte other presidents I have lived threw. The others I was just hoping that they didn't screw things up for us. LOL
katielass · F
@Dainbramadge: That was an actual congressional expenditure. Oh there were others I just remember that one because it was so freaking bizarre. I mean if they wanted to study the lives of gays in America or something along those lines I would not object, of course, but who ever heard of a gay fish? Can a fish be gay?
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Katielass: Now thats a great question LOL Can fish be gay?? LOL
On a side note.. a gold fish will chase a laser pointer just like hte cat will. LOL
katielass · F
@Dainbramadge: I did not know that. Do you torture your goldfish?
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
Ha ha ha When I ws married we had a bunch of them. One day while playing with the cat with it. I thought.. what would the fish do. LOL Sure enough they will run into each other and stuff you do with the cat only slower. LOL
katielass · F
OMG how interesting. I wouldn't have dreamed they would do that.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Katielass: See now that is worth $450,000 LOL
katielass · F
@Dainbramadge: Good one. You should have asked your congressperson for a grant.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Katielass: Yeah I could have graphed all my findings and did double blind test's and drug it out for a few years. Maybe even attach it to a fish I.Q. test to see how smart a fish is in comparison to their brain size. LOL
katielass · F
@Dainbramadge: Have you done this before? lol
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
No but I feel like I may have missed my calling tho. LOL
