How long till the first of the far right Republicans decides to vote McCarthy out of his position as speaker of the house?

My understanding is that it will only take one disgruntled Republican to vote him out.

I fully expect he will be speaker for the full term. One member can call for a no confidence vote but the entire house would have to vote him out, and I don’t see that happening

@GJOFJ3 <-- what he said. They can call for a vote to oust him, but requires 2/3 majority. I think for 2023 he will remain, and then replaced later. Right now no other republican really wants the job.....well at least today.

Not exactly true. One person can't vote him out, but can bring up a vote to oust him. Then it will depend on the outcome of that vote
