I'd say Democracy is working pretty well.

@Elessar It's doing terribly at stopping us from completely destroying the environment, and it's allowing increasing wealth to flow to the already wealthy while millions are still starving, so I would not say it's doing so well, no.

@SW-User That's not democracy causing it, that's unregulated capitalism. If you lost the right to vote rest assured this certainly wouldn't improve, all the opposite actually. Capitalism would be even less regulated if we switched to a non-democratic form of government.
