Booth was a democrat.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@redredred Of course he would. And today he would be a Republican.
@redredred

Is this a democrat .
redredred · M
@Ryderbike I don’t know but it’s undoubtedly a southerner. I doubt this person votes.
@redredred trump supporter like every trump rally.

Not democrats ..you’re the RINOS
redredred · M
@Ryderbike Im neither. I’m a registered Libertarian and in fact hold office as a Libertarian.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@redredred That's too bad about the office. Hopefully it is something where you can't do too much damage to others.
redredred · M
@windinhishair I’ll compare my history with the democrat party any day.
@redredred really?

How many republicans from the southern slave states voted for the civil rights act?
I’ll give you a hint, if you guessed 1 that’s too many .

Sure you want to do this?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@redredred I'm sure it is good for white Republicans. The rest of humanity, not so much.
redredred · M
@Ryderbike The Civil Rights acts of 1964 snd 1965 were overwhelming supported by republicans; democrats, not so much. Without Republican congressional support neither would have passed into law.

I know historical facts are inconvenient for you.
@redredred I just proved you a liar ..apologize now or run away
redredred · M
@Ryderbike What the fuck is a dem confed?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@redredred Yes. Thank goodness we had liberal Republicans then in the North (including my family who were state officeholders). Without them, those acts would not have passed.

Run along now, libertarian racist Trump-loving Cultist.
@redredred it means confederate state…votes and union state votes.

Get an education
redredred · M
@Ryderbike try this, idiot

windinhishair · 61-69, M
@redredred And most of those Republicans were liberal Republicans in the northeast in former Union States. Those liberal Republicans were driven out of the GOP and replaced with the racists we have today. Try learning history. Perhaps it will help you in your elected position.
@redredred again I gave you the numbers by slave states and union states.

No republicans in slave states voted for civil rights act.

Zero
redredred · M
@windinhishair I live in the northeast, there were never in the last 80 years large numbers of republicans in office here, certainly not enough to carry national legislation.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@redredred There were many Republican representatives and senators in the northeast, particularly prior to 1980.
redredred · M
@Ryderbike By 1964, slavery was largely over. I know that’s news to you.
redredred · M
@windinhishair Want to name twenty since 1980?
@redredred really ? You sure .. 1964?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@redredred Scott Brown was Senator from MA as recently as 2013. But I've already stated most Republicans have been expunged by the racist southern Republicans. Try looking prior to 1980, like when the Civil Rights legislation was being passed while being opposed by Southern Racist Republicans. One of the Massachusetts Senate seats had no Democrats elected between 1937 and 1979.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@redredred
Want to name twenty since 1980?

There have been 14 Republican Senators alone in the New England states since 1980. I haven't checked representatives yet, but it will be far more than 20. Do you care to admit you are a liar, or just let the facts speak for themselves?
