Problem with many Americans is they don’t want a separation of powers. They want and expect the president is a king. They long for the days of British rule and having a monarchy.
In the founding documents you will find that many did not want to have a president. They did not want a country ruled by a king like figure. Eventually they compromised and decided to have a president but gave Congress the power to fire the president. They did not give the president the power to fire Congress.
So when you see an administration operating effectively it’s because the president is leading a team of extremely qualified people. So Joe Biden may be getting old and a little bit forgetful , but he has a terrific team and his record of accomplishments is historical.
@Ryderbike I can see your point. But the truth is you have the genuine royal "spare" in America now. Married to an American with a media profile and himself a Miliatry man with a history of work with disabled Veterans (Something America is sadly very good at producing. Lets face it, Harry and Meghan tick all the boxes if you want a well adapted Monarch.. Certainly way better than any of the US options in play..😷
