Senator Ted Cruz's Daughter Tried To Commit Suicide Last Night

Police were called to their Houston residence last night for a 14-year old girl (his daughter) with self-inflicted knife wounds. Regardless of politics, let us all wish her and the family the best and give them peace as they deal with these severe issues.

Feel horrible for her, can't imagine being the kid of someone so stodgy and authoritarian. :\ I hope she gets some help and holds out til 18.

@chrisCA I mean, I was one of those teens, but it wasn't nearly as bad for me as it was for them. My parents weren't borderline Nazi politicians.
