Trump Organization found guilty on multiple counts of criminal tax fraud

A Manhattan jury has found two Trump Organization companies guilty on multiple charges of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records connected to a 15-year scheme to defraud tax authorities by failing to report and pay taxes on compensation for top executives.

The Trump Corp. and Trump Payroll Corp. were found guilty on all charges they faced.

The maximum sentence is $1.6M in fines. It's probably important to have this on the record, but the trial cost more than the total fines.

@Ryderbike The CFO Wieselface was sentenced to 100 days jail as opposed to a maximum ten years... What are the odds he gave up stuff that will later be found regarding Trump and the family?😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I'm not too up to speed on the law but I do know the NY AG has filed a suit that targets Trump and his kids specifically for years of fraud. They're personally on the hook. Curious if anything Weisselberg shared could be used in that case as well.
