Wait . . what? How does Alex Jones still have "a show"? He just lost a defamation case, and is liable for damages of $45 million. Isn't the DOJ all over this?
BohemianBabe · M
@SusanInFlorida Alex Jones is insanely rich.
SusanInFlorida · 31-35, F
@BohemianBabe no he's not. he's already filed for bankruptcy
BohemianBabe · M
@SusanInFlorida Yeah, but he's not actually bankrupt. He just did that to make people think he's not rich. He also moves around his money a lot to make it harder to track. Jones is a piece of shit in more ways than one.

@BohemianBabe so i renew my question. why doesn't the government freeze and confiscate his assets? any movement of $5,000 or more is reportable by the financial institution to the government.
BohemianBabe · M
@SusanInFlorida So if Jones is paying the amount he owes, then the government won't freeze and confiscate his assets. I'm guessing that he is making his payments on the $45 million, even if he's lying to his audience about being bankrupt.
By the way, watching these trials has been quite fun. Jones lies so much, it's pretty satisfying to see him finally get called out for his lies. In this video, the judge addresses his lies about being bankrupt.

@BohemianBabe i didn't watch the trials. but i heard alex jones filed for bankruptcy because he never made anything close to "$45 million" from his radio show and website.
BohemianBabe · M
@SusanInFlorida He probably did file. But yeah, don't believe anything he says.
SusanInFlorida · 31-35, F
@BohemianBabe wow . . . you mean "the media" isn't doing its job, and calling him out on this? and i used to have such a deep and abiding faith in the press
BohemianBabe · M
@SusanInFlorida Everything we believed in has been a lie!

@BohemianBabe personally . . .
1. i've never joined any political party
2. stopped going to church as soon as i was out of school
3. never tried to enlist in the military
4. don't open emails from unknown senders
i did, however, join a union previously. they turned out to be liars. or at best, incompetent

@SusanInFlorida yeah that's unions for you. And Idc what anyone thinks of Alex Jones, but he apologized years ago for the awful things he said about the Sandy Hook shooting. He already owned up to it, but because he has been exposing many very bad people for years that the government are friends with, they want him silenced. He's been right about many things, but just has a crazy way of saying things. If anybody actually looks into things he has been saying for years, you can actually find information that backs up things he said. Perfect? Nope, but he has been right a lot, especially with how our government has been behaving these past few years.
