Herschel Walker

Good grief... did you hear his comments regarding the Colorado shooting?

I can see someone like him winning a house seat in an easy district. But Senator?

My only rationale as to how 50% of people voted for him is that he gets a 10-15% boost just on name recognition and the fact he won a Heisman. Just like Kari Lake in AZ. Lake got a 10% boost just because people recognized her face and name from the nightly news. Neither seem to have any idea what the job they are applying for requires.

Bill Maher takes us thru Hershel's dumbest moments

I'm just gonna put my fave up top here:

"He has four kids, four different women,
wasn't int the house raising one of them."
- Christian Walker, son of Hershel.

@ElwoodBluesHe has the mentality of a 12 year old boy.
@JimboSaturn I was way more mature than him at 12.

@ElwoodBlues Does Bill Maher take us through any of Biden’s dumbest moments? I’m sure Joe has far more than Hershel Walker or is Bill Maher is like the typical media and doesn’t cover any of the democrats that are disasters? How about Fetterman? Bill covering any of that train wreck? I’m just asking
@Bill1372 Not in this video, but Maher certainly has done so at other times. Biden wasn't my first choice; to me he's the lesser of two evils. Let me explain: dumb moments are one thing; idiotic policies that kill hundreds of thousands of Americans are a totally different kettle of fish.

Our Covid per capita death rate all thru 2020 was DOUBLE that of countries like Canada & Germany, resulting in 550,000 deaths under Trump.

If Trump had handled Covid as well as, say, Justin Trudeau, we'd have had 275,000 FEWER DEATHS! Put another way, Trump's mis-management of Covid cost more deaths than THREE Viet Nam wars!! Three Viet Nams in a SINGLE YEAR, not spread out over ten years like the actual war!!!

Sure, Covid came from outside. And different leaders in different countries managed it differently. Trump's piss-poor Covid management is made clear by the relative per capita death rates.

"I look at it this way," Birx told CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta. "The first time, we have an excuse. There were about 100,000 deaths that came from that original surge. All of the rest of them, in my mind, could have been mitigated or decreased substantially."

So yeah, we can laugh at Biden's dumb moments and be grateful his advisors and handlers don't let him do too many stupid things, but in comparison to his predecessor, Biden is heroic.
@Bill1372 like when Biden suggested suspending the constitution ?

@ElwoodBlues so COVID deaths were Trumps fault? Maybe the fact the people of the U.S. are so unhealthy. How about Gov. Cuomo (D) crying for ventilators (which were the reason so many died) and Trump sent him 30,000 of them, none of which he used, or how about him sending COVID positive patients back to nursing homes to infect other. How about the USS Comfort Trump sent him, which he didn’t use or the Javits center, again, unused. Democrats undoubtedly handled the COVID response far worse than anyone. They devastated economies and many small businesses. They locked down their own states then flew off to Florida and went around unmasked. They are the party of hypocrisy
@Bill1372
so COVID deaths were Trumps fault?
Did I say that? No I did not.

New York got the first wave of Covid, the alpha wave. That's where we learned the hard way. The delta wave hit the red states far harder.

And 2021 was a pandemic of the unvaxxed. Here are the numbers for 2021.

In 2021, the 75% of Americans fully vaccinated produced under 20% of the Covid deaths, while the 25% unvaccinated Americans produced over 80% of the Covid deaths.

In 2021, the 75% of Americans fully vaccinated produced under 31% of Covid cases; while the 25% unvaccinated Americans produced nearly 70% of Covid cases.

This means the US unvaccinated had a 5X higher chance of contracting Covid compared to the vaccinated per capita, and that overall the unvaccinated had about a 15X higher probability of Covid death per capita.

Note: since 'Long Covid' occurs in 15% to 25% of Covid cases, that means there is also a 5X higher prevalence of Long Covid per capita among the unvaccinated.

There was a much greater proportion of unvaxxed in trump supporting red counties, and it shows up in the death rates:

@Bill1372 What do you get out of your party loyalty? It doesn't make anyone like you when you want to overthrow the government, combine church and state, tax the poor, take away healthcare and civil rights and kill LGBT people. Like do you actually think you are good for all that? Forget about parties. How about just being a good fucking human for once.
@canusernamebemyusername You can't deny the facts so you attack the messenger and try to change the subject with a dozen false claims. Hate me all you like, it won't change 2021's pandemic of the unvaccinated.
