This is some scary, scary shit. Beyond the obvious escalation in violence against Latin Americans, this is an explicit rejection of Federal authority. I'm worried it will lead to open conflict between state and federal forces.

Build a wall around your house. I guarantee no one will bother climbing your wall. Now hang a sign that says if you make it over the wall you can get a job .
You will have plenty coming over .

In Canada if a business hires an undocumented worker they are fined 50,000 dollars and up to two years in prison,

Guess what? No jobs. No Jobs equal no illegals.

If abbot was intelligent he would be jailing Texans that hire undocumented workers.

@Ryderbike Here's another thought. Stop hiring undocumented workers and watch the U.S. economy go up in flames. Those people come here, after escaping hell holes, and WORK. And if we're just talking Mexicans? Something I'm familiar with as a Californian? I'll take an undocumented Mexican over a fucking "real 'murican' any day of the week. Kind, humble, generous, incredibly hard working and driven by family. Among the best people I've ever met. But if you're Canadian you probably wouldn't have much interaction. It's like 75% white there, right? Ok. Big difference between Canada and the U.S. We're a nation of immigrants. You're not. And so you know, this has NOTHING to do with any made up border crisis. This is about one thing and that's creating an enemy for the dregs of our society. It is what it is.

@Ynotisay Incorrect. Canada has a huge number of Asian immigrants, many of whom are illegal.

@Ryderbike You have illegal immigrants and some of them have jobs, it's just nowhere near the level we have in the U.S. Although our illegal immigrant population has been stable for a while, with the same number leaving as entering. The massive increase in H-2A agriculture labor visas has pretty much eliminated employment of illegal farm workers. Here in Georgia, most of the farm workers are H-2A with a few local people.

Why would he do that? Where would they get cheap labour from? Doing it this way is the best of all possible worlds for the employers: they get none of the flack and can keep the costs of low skilled labour down. Anyway those are probably the people who voted for him, pissing them off won't help keep him in power.

@Ryderbike THANK YOU. I've said this on here before: low level management in large companies with names you know have told me outright that upper management is aware of hiring illegals and look the other way because all they care about is a cheap labor force.
If illegal aliens weren't hired by American companies they wouldn't be coming here in droves because they wouldn't be able to survive.
