Being Anti War

Why is it the Democrats used to be the Anto War Party (Pelosi and Schumer both voted against the Iraq War), and now all Democrats are like “DONT YOU DARE QUESTION THE UKRAINE NARRATIVE” of course along with the Swampy Republicans.

Why is it the Republicans (actually a minority of them) used to be the Anti Russia/USSR party, but as of recently got this addiction to licking Putin's b*tt?

As blue said, defending from aggression ≠ wanting war. Russia is the sole actor that wanted and wants this war, they've had many chances now to f*ck off and leave Ukr but won't do it.
