Advertising ignorance

“Florida is where woke goes to die,” declared winning goblin Ron DeSantis after his victory on Tuesday.

Problem is, the definition (from Oxford) of woke is: alert to injustice in society, especially racism.

So if it sounds like DeSantis is preaching to a conservative, logic-free, terrified and clinging people unburdened by education, he is. For all the jokes, jibes and head-shaking you now want Florida to be the beacon. A parade led by jesters.

Every time he opens his mouth he's standing there with a big box of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers courting the MAGA crowd. He's really stupid if he thinks they're going to bring him the White House. He already has them in bed. Meanwhile the voters he'll need to actually put him over the top are looking at this and filing him under No Effing Way.
