It was a flop but as long as they get the house things will be a little better. I whomever voted for the democrats this time were not thinking clearly . But as long as the vote was /is counted correctly That’s what counts . Oh and Roosevelt did not end the. Depression and refused to bomb the Nazi concentration camps even tho he knew what was going on. But that is in the past .
I hate politics and all of the dirty games they play with "WE, the People". Voting this year, after the reversal of Roe v Wade, had a totally different purpose. I think that it ignited a fire for a silent majority who feel that a woman's right to her own body is more important than all of the other horribly destructive issues occurring. For me, it came down to who the Pro-Choice candidates were. (This is just my opinion, and if anyone chooses to blast me here for it, I will not oblige with a response.) Just BE KIND...
@lifesatrip I understand. I believe that the Republicans are lucky at this point to even be up just a little. Especially considering the issue on abortion which costed them a few seats overall.

Yeah, medical treatments are very specific. Ivermectin gets rid of several different parasitic worms, but double-blind trials show it did NOTHING against Covid.

Conclusions and relevance: Among outpatients with mild to moderate COVID-19, treatment with ivermectin, compared with placebo, did not significantly improve time to recovery. These findings do not support the use of ivermectin in patients with mild to moderate COVID-19.
