I don't think I can remember a major news story vanish from the top of the news so fast.

What the hell went on at the Pelosi resident that morning? We're now on our 5th or 6th iteration of what happened at the Pelosi house. One of the TV network posted a story that vanished a nanosecond later, and suddenly, except for Fox, it's like it's suddenly no longer news.

Suggestions about what may have gone on there are flying across YouTube, all based on what seems to have been less than honest official news stories that kept changing.

@OggggO What vanished is the NBC report using police reports that stated that Mr. Pelosi answered his front door when police arrived, he didn't immediately seek protection from the police, he walked back into the foyer of his home away from the police, and it was then this kooky David DePape hit Mr. Pelosi with the hammer. NBC reported that it's still unclear what transpired in the 30 minutes DePape was in the Pelosi house before police were called.

The report (by NBC reporter Miguel Almaguer on the Today Show) was taken off NBC's website with the explanation that it did not meet NBC's reporting standards.

It's not that the attack on Mr. Pelosi is not being reported on, it's that this specific report suddenly has been retracted by NBC.

Yep. But then all references to the story suddenly vanished from the Yahoo news feeds, until this morning. It was like someone at the top yelled "halt!" and gathered in all the MSM's Democrat loyalist and hired a best selling novelist to write a Hollywood type script :)
