Democrats have a huge problem they think no one will notice. Close to 60% of them are DINO’S. Those in public office are 80% over 75 and out of touch with the left who today control the party and are intent on the extinction of DINO’S. They are just too far to thr right to be democrats any more. This election is the last hurrah for most of them who will drift into an unfulfilling retirement.

I don't entirely disagree with your diagnosis; as one of those left-of-centers, the fight between us and the Biden wing of the party was downright brutal back in 2020 and 2016. But I think it has to be recognized, that the Inflation Reduction Act, the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act, and the student loan debt reduction were all olive branches extended to the socialists and social democrats; someone like Obama scarcely even imagined such bold investment into the working class. The decline in drone strikes and pardoning of cannabis offenders are also pretty obviously responses to long-standing critiques that folks like Sanders levy against the US government.
