Looks like Lula will win but Bolsanaro will alledge voter fraud. They got rid of the last PT President in a coup so it's pretty worrying.

@Burnley123 He was already whining about voter fraud before the election. Bolsonaro is one of (if not the) worst of these "alt-right"wackos, so it's almost guaranteed he'll try to pull a Jan 6th I fear

@Burnley123 Is Modi on the same bandwagon of Bolsonaro, Trump et al, pushing conspiracy theories, pushing a regressive agenda and claiming election fraud whenever they lose? I legit don't follow Indian politics very much, I don't think I've ever seen him mentioned as a far-righter, I was under the impression he's a hardcore neolib?

Yeah Duterte is quite a low bar indeed. I'm not sure the Philippines may see any improvements under Marcos Jr. however, but hopefully not lower the bar even further either 😕
