Questioning Biden's energy policies ....

Could Biden's energy police be based on the fact that the oil production industry is mostly based in conservative or Republican states? Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas, North Dakota? And by assaulting the oil/petro industry he can undermine those states' economies and shake up the voters there?

Could be, but he wasn't elected to, nor has he ever really been a fan of deconstructing the American State or wrecking it, even, despite the pathetic accuse the other guy of what your guy is doing stuff that is so popular in some circles.

Now, it was Bernie, maybe, or AOC, or maybe even a shrewder Democrat like Pelosi, it seems a little more plausible, but still not too well thought out.

Bottom line is, hurting folks, even rich elites still doesnt sell well with most Democrats, imo. And if Democrats got wind of it, they'd leak it and rip it apart.

Beyond that, why would Biden want to shake up voters as an incumbent in such a way?

Accusing him of propping up the economy by selling off oil reserves while secretly sabotaging red oil producing states even, seems more likely, and I'm not sure that one even really flies that well.
