Democrat gaslighting right before the election once again as they deny their position on defunding the police. Crime has skyrocketed and it's a losing issue on the ballot. In some cases, they are claiming it wasn't them, but instead it was the republicans responsible. In the end it doesn't matter to the democrat party because they believe the people are stupid enough to buy into their lies. A few reminders of the truth below:

@Bill1372 Do you have documented evidence to prove that? Nope.
It's the easy availability of guns that is greatest cause of murders in this country. Republicans in Congress have opposed every sane gun control law, because they are bought off with gun industry money.
@badminton You're like one of those dolls where you pull the string and it says the same 4 things over and over.
Why is it that Wyoming and Vermont, two states with relatively lenient gun laws, a 55-60% firearm ownership rate, yet per capita firearm homicide rates well below the national average, at European levels?
While, Washington DC - our nations capitol, has the most stringent gun laws in the country, a 3% firearm ownership rate, and a per capita firearm homicide rate 16 times the national average.
Populations of DC, Wyoming and Vermont are comparable.
It's all documented in the FBI Uniform Crime Database.
"Republican-controlled states have higher murder rates than Democratic ones"
Republican politicians routinely claim that cities run by Democrats have been experiencing crime waves caused by failed governance, but a new study shows murder rates are actually higher in states and cities controlled by Republicans.
"...a comparison of violent crime rates in jurisdictions controlled by Democrats and Republicans tells a very different story. In fact, a new study from the center-left think tank Third Way shows that states won by Trump in the 2020 election have higher murder rates than those carried by Joe Biden. The highest murder rates, the study found, are often in conservative, rural states."
