Michigan Is Hiding A Children’s Constitutional Right To Genital Amputation In Its Abortion Amendment

In less than one month, if Proposal 3 passes, children will have a right under the Michigan constitution to walk into one of Planned Parenthood’s 12 so-called “gender affirming” facilities in the state and, without parental knowledge or consent, obtain puberty blockers. And with Planned Parenthood of Michigan promising “gender affirming” care “via telehealth in the coming months,” Michiganders’ kids won’t even need to leave their house to obtain these sterilizing drugs.

Passage of Prop 3 will also give boys a constitutional right to be castrated and girls the right under Michigan’s constitution to be sterilized by way of a hysterectomy or the removal of their ovaries — all without their parents’ consent.

Come on SW Libs, defend this radical idea.

adult transgenders who complete their surgery tend to go into some deep depression afterwards. It’s not the same as they hype they were told. How in the hell do they think children are going to deal with this after it’s done and can’t be reversed to what they were before? It’s damned barbaric to even allow it on children. There was a surgeon caught bragging on what a money-maker these surgeries are. Probably his number one motivation for doing them, not to benefit the life of the child.

@graphite read an article on another site and there was a teen who had the surgery and her arm was sliced up because she was cutting herself. That’s how bad it was for her, she wanted to reverse it. But like the old saying “You can never go home again” things will never be the same. I don’t think teens understand that concept when they have body dysmorphia which I believe most of these teens have. There is something else going on with them that needs to be addressed.

@graphite It’s a sadistic money-maker for the clinics and surgeons who are profiting heavily from it. Just like most of the cancer treatment departments in hospitals. My sister worked on one for the last part of her career and remarked that they don’t want a quick cure, too many are making money off of these treatments (hospitals, doctors, pharmaceutical companies etc.) where the patient suffer and have relapses till the chemo ruins their lungs etc.
