The 3D Chess Masters That Never Were

Putin seems to believe the bullshit Trump is spewing, about how Biden is a weak president.

Well, neither Trump, nor Putin are the 3D chess masters, they purported themselves to be.

Trump's idea of "strong", was to bend over, and give Putin whatever he asks for, and then call it an acknowledgment of the status quo, and let's move on.

When Putin started his limited 3-day operation, several months ago, he miscalculated everything. Hardly 2 D chess level play.

When he recently hinted about the use of tactical nuclear weapons, and said he's not bluffing, he miscalculated, once more.

In his strongest, direct response, President Biden, during an interview that was aired last night, said: "I am talking to Putin. He, in fact, cannot continue with impunity to talk about the use of a tactical nuclear weapon as if that’s a rational thing to do. The mistakes get made, the miscalculation could occur, no one could be sure what would happen and it could end in Armageddon”

Glad the President is making it clear, that we're not going to stand by, and allow this to happen, even at the risk of Armageddon, and I support him. The only way to prevent a nuclear war, is to make sure your opponent understands that you're not bluffing, when you signal that there's no such thing as a limited tactical strike, and I'm sure the Russian military leaders understand that.

Of course, the patriotic MAGAs, keep blabbing about how President Biden is weak. Compare that to Trump's fart of the deal.

When I was child, we had a game called Hungry Hippos. Marbles shot about the plastic board and you had control of one brightly coloured plastic hippo and there was one mechanical button to press. This was to open your hippoes mouth to 'eat' the marbles.

The only skill was to hit the button as many times as possible to get the most marbles. The game was chaotic fun but had zero strategy.

I just thought I'd share because maybe this is a better analogy.

@Burnley123 It's marketed under that name in the UK. In the US, it's called: Hungry Hungry Hippos.

I suppose you could say that Putin thought he was playing 3D chess, but turns out his skill set only qualifies him for Hungry Hippos.

His moves are now predictable. He brought in the guy who was running his war in Syria, to run the war in the Ukraine. The guy had no particular strategy in Syria, and he simply resorted to old-fashioned artillery, non-guided missiles, and explosive barrels, essentially lobbying explosives on everything in his way.

Oh, Putin knows who Biden is. And he knows who Trump is. He's an old hand at this by most of our standards. He listens to Trump because Trump is his tool of division in the States. He threatens and puffs up his chest with Biden, but he's doing nothing of note that indicates real action above and beyond what's happening now.

He simply likes to blow hot air. In related news, look for Kim Jong Un to rear his foolish head before too long; they all hate being ignored.

Excellent post....cant wait to see the cult reply.... YET you are spot on!!!!
Well it’s real simple. When Trump gave Ukraine lethal weapons Trump is a hero ,But when Biden gives them lethal weapons he’s the worst president ever.

@Ryderbike Trump wanted to exchange weapon, for dirt on Biden. This is why he was impeached the first time.

Trump had no foreign policy...none...nothing...niltch. All he knew was how to bend over for foreign nations. Withdrawl from NATO....not the brightest lightbulb.
Excellent post. Thank you.
