How long are we going to support the worst of us?

Herschel Walker's son, Christian, a conservative influencer, tweeted last week of his father, "You’re not a “family man” when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence."

That's the man you support if you're still joking about or making excuses for Walker. That kind of family man with values. The people closest in his life can't stand him right now. If you wouldn't support it from a drinking buddy, you really shouldn't support it in an elected official in charge of your life.

At this point, I struggle to play any kind of decency politics; we all know that at the end of the day, policy is gonna win out overall. I mean, I voted for a literal rapist in 2020 just so we could have some trains and ideally, keep abortion legal.

@BlueVeins Principles and ethics are unbending. Evolving, but unbending. What is wrong in one situation is wrong in any situation (exceptions allowed, for the literalists). One's actions and convictions should absolutely never be dictated by an assumed outcome.
