How Trump Plans to Win the War in Ukraine for Russia

Donald Trump is calling for Ukraine/Russia "peace talks" just as Ukraine may be on the verge (with military weapons assistance from the U.S. and NATO) of pushing Russia out of eastern Ukraine and perhaps even begin a campaign to retake Crimea.

But if Trump is elected president in 2024, he will use the "rejection" of peace talks by Ukraine ("peace talks" with the demand by Russia for the forfeiture of Ukrainian territory) as an excuse to halt U.S. military assistance to Ukraine. That could led to a rupture with NATO, since Europeans understand the dangers of Russian aggression.

It's why I am not at all being facetious when I stress:

According to Polishchuk, Moscow is ready to accept intermediary services at peace talks on the terms that “Kyiv has already rejected.”

“Many countries are currently offering their mediation in negotiations between Russia and Ukraine,” Polishchuk said.

“There is no shortage of intermediary services, and we’re not refusing them.”

According to the diplomat, those countries that are interested in acting as mediators in the peace process “should convince Kyiv to withdraw its troops and give up the (Russia-) annexed territories.”

Ukrainian experts and officials say that Moscow’s sudden willingness to engage in peace negotiations is a result of its failures on the battlefield, where Ukrainian troops continue to liberate territory – including areas the Kremlin has claimed to have annexed.

As for the war, Russia is simply letting the West expend it's weapons.

Could be. But Russia is running out of weapons FAR faster than the West. Russia Is FAR weaker than they were eight months ago. And any "smart weapons" Russia once had are long gone and can't be replenished because of all the embargoes.

The military aid we’ve given the Ukrainians is helping in the ground war. You no doubt saw what their missiles and aircraft have done to civilian targets.
Someone better get this sorted out whether it’s Trump or Niden or whomever.
