Tulsi Gabbard Leaves The Democrat Party

Tulsi Gabbard, Putin's mouthpiece and a permanent fixture on Fox news, announced, on Fox News, that she's leaving the Democrat party.

Democrats were like "huh? you're a Democrat. We were under the impression you got your paychecks from the Kremlin, and Fox News"?

Ever since RT (Russia TV) was banned in the US, Tulsi has been living on Fox News, trying to convince the MAGAs that supporting the Ukraine is bad news for America, and why can't the Ukraine simply accept annexation, so we can all get along.

It's Fox News' main story today. Yawn...

I get this , and I get why Fox is pushing it, but what's next?

Gabbard is a really powerful tool for a lot of GOP elements, and I can't see them not courting her, if only to control her.

I could honestly see McConnell drooling over her, and IF she'd play ball (a big if), she'd be an awesome VP candidate for Trump, if he's really interested in trying to win back the Presidency, or maybe even just worth spending money for an endorsement.

Sure, the Dems are yawning, but they lost her a long time ago.

@MistyCee She has no real power at the local and national levels. They can use her for propaganda, but it's hard to come back from being a paid contributor to RT.

She's not going to be converting any Democrats, and certainly not going to convince anyone with the right amount of brain power, to watch Tucker.

@Northwest Where does Tucker stand with Gabbard, though?

I'll confess I haven't kept up, but they both seem to appeal to a similar demographic.

I'm sure she's not going to convert any Democrats and I know they've written her off, but those two are both articulate and capable of nuance that seems lacking with the Trump wing of the GOP.

@MistyCee At the beginning of Putin's invasion, Tucker had her on as a regular guest, to make the "only if the Ukraine stops harassing those peaceful Russians, who only want to reunite with their homeland, and prosecute all those Nazis who want to inflict damage on Russia, there would be peace", bullshit.

This was after her gig on RT got cancelled, along with RT.

She can certainly run on the GOP ticket, but she's not going to be accepted there either.

@Thinkerbell You're selling her short here. I'm not a huge fan, but I think she's bigger then that.

@Thinkerbell Mebbe, but i'd be disappointed in her if she didn't get the tape and use it.

@Thinkerbell lol. Nor does it mean it did happen.

Honestly, I think, even if she's a Russian collaborator and Putin slut/agent, Tulsi has overall thus far had a fairly positive effect on women and politics.
I reserve my right to change my opinion, of course.

@Thinkerbell You continue to push your agenda, with no regard to the topic. That's not allowed.

@MistyCee Can you quantify her positive effect on women and politics?
@Northwest Nah, not really. I'm not up for quantification, but I do think that the end game on politics should be relatively gender neutral and that folks like Lene Reifenstalhl, Catherine the Great, HRC, and even Gabbard play a role in that.

Putting women on pedestals is not that much different then putting slaves on stage for exhibition.

I'm not a Tulsi fan, but I appreciate her speaking up.
@Northwest Jeez, after you delete all her posts, that seems harsh.

Just saying.

She's a troll who cannot stick to the topic. She's been warned multiple times. The topic is NOT Biden sniffing anyone's hair.
@Northwest Damn, I'd forgotten all about that hair sniffing shit. My bad. It's your post.

I don't know what that means. The discussion is not about whether women as ALLOWED to speak. That's not an issue in the US and the Western world. It's about Gabbard leaving the Democrat party.
@Northwest You seem to be way more secure about the Western World than I am.

But, I get it, thats off topic if the only issue is Tulsi leaving the Democratic party.

Imo, the Dems won't miss her and may be better off with out her hanging around, and both the Republicans and Gabbard have opportunities.

To quote Gump"And that's all I have to say about that."

PS: I'm sorry if I misquoted him.

@MistyCee In a Western world with Kellyanne Conway, Hillary Clinton, and VP harris, I feel secure that women can speak up on issues of POLITICS, without anyone batting an eyelash.

Gabbard, when commenting, did not blaze any trails. She did not do it when she ran for Congress. She did not do it when she joined the military. She's been appearing on Carlson since Biden was elected, to bash everything he's doing, but not once did she propose a solution. Talk is cheap, especially when you don't have to say anything that makes sense, and the show host is not asking you to prove your point.
@Northwest Geez, I said I wasnt up for quantifying.

I don't for a minute think that eyelashes aren't batting or that voices aren't being filtered, but Gabbard seems to be a player in her own right, no matter who's fronting her on any given hand.

I'm not trying to make her into a heroine, but at the same time, I think it's good that there are female free agents out there.

And I also think it's a good thing to recognize that. Men get away with too much shit by hiding behind women.

Was Anna Delvey Sorokin really a free agent?

I don't know, bit I think it would be foolish to not explore her connections.
