Local news sources can be very lazy depending on the size of the community. Also, if your local tv stations are owned by Sinclair broadcasting, that's a bad sign.

With today's ads, both positive and negative, it's very depressing.
I feel you can Google almost everyone these days, especially politicians, read what their views are on certain subjects that are important to you, such as abortion. A very hot topic right now.
Then vote for the person who most follows what you believe in, or will do the best for the masses.

@Teslin I guess but there's a lot to consider and who's writing the articles? I end up going down a rabbit hole every time.

But I agree, it is a crap shoot.
