I am sure they will shut down any Jan 6th investigations day 1. But will they investigate Obama for the crime of "being president while black"? You know they want to. They will call it something else, but we all know their true motivation....

@Driver2 That's true. It's a fact. It's also true that the generation of Democrats that did that are dead. I don't think either party has been good for minorities. That being said, the idea that the views of both parties haven't changed in the last seventy and more years is laughable. The Democrats are no longer the party of the KKK and the Republicans are no longer the party of Lincoln.

Bringing this up is no different than defining car companies on the cars of the 60s. No doubt the '67 Mustang is a bad ass car, but it's not why I would or would not buy a Ford today. Recent practices matter. For cars and political parties.

@Driver2 Ok, fifty years ago then. Are there r racist Dems in Congress? Sure, certainly. Are there racist Republicans? Sure, certainly. Do I judge any group by how that group behaved fifty years ago? I'm more interested in what they did a year ago. I just can't take it seriously when someone's best argument is that a group did something fifty years ago.
